NOTES:
This title is a 1994 release by Tarantura of Zeppelin’s April 9, 1970 show in Tampa Florida on their fifth U.S. tour. The source for this show is a very good to excellent audience recording that is completely three dimensional, letting you experience the power and the charm of this fantastic show. And, it is funny hearing Plant making announcements from the stage (“Well, that was anti-climatic!” he says before White Summer). It begins with the very end of the middle section to Bring It On Home. A great pity since it sounds fun. White Summer is fantastic, with the Bron-Y-Aur section included. How Many More Times is also great with an interesting medley. This is the first instance of Zeppelin playing Elvis’ Mess O’ Blues, which is a signature of their 1971 Whole Lotta Love medleys. The encore of Whole Lotta Love is also very good with lots of chaos in the middle. The only drawback to the tape is several dropouts during How Many More Times. It sounds like the tape gets crinkled in the recorder several times.
