Recorded live at Gonzanga University Gymnasium, Spokane, Washington, USA, December 30,1968.
This is the oldest known Led Zeppelin concert recording. The sound quality is quite good but does tend to be overloaded in some places. Recorded on a mono Norelco cassette recorder with internal microphone. This release is said to come from the master cassette and is treated with digital noise reduction.
The CD comes in a paper slipcase within the Empress Valley long box with deluxe slip cover. The front and rear covers show unpublished photos from the Rose Palace, Pasadena, CA. The front also has a photo of the master tape. The CD itself depicts a reel tape. Liner notes in English and Japanese.
